Tadesse Kersmo is an Ethiopian political activist, a member of the outlawed opposition group Ginbot 7. Tadesse fled Ethiopia in 2009, and was granted asylum in the UK several months later. In 2013, Tadesse learned that he and other members of his group exiled in locations around the world had been targeted by the Ethiopian government once again. The Ethiopian government had hacked into their computers using a tool called “Finfisher”, manufactured and exported by a British/German group of companies called Gamma.
